At tax time, Nomo gives you a PDF or CSV report of your trips, receipts and hours for myTax or your accountant.
For bigger car claims, Nomo records odometer readings, works out your work use percentage and produces a 12 week logbook report. See the logbook method.
Australian workers who spend their own money to do their job, or drive for it. That's PAYG employees in all kinds of jobs, and sole traders on an ABN.
Deductions get lost in ordinary ways. The drive between jobs isn't written down. The receipt fades in the glovebox. The hours worked from home are a guess by July. By tax time, people either spend a weekend rebuilding the year or claim less than they could have.
From 2026–27 there's a new question too: with a $1,000 standard deduction on offer, are your real deductions higher? You can only answer that if you've kept track. See the $1,000 standard deduction, explained.
Nomo records work drives in the background. Swipe each one work or personal.

One running estimate across trips, receipts and home hours.
Nomo is made by Nomo Co Pty Ltd, an Australian company. It was founded in 2026 by Paula, an engineer who works in construction and a tradie's wife. She watched her husband lose receipts and kilometres every year, saw the same thing across the trades she works with, realised nurses, teachers and plenty of others lose deductions the same way, and built the app she wished he'd had.
Nomo is built by a small team, and support messages are answered by the people who build it. Read the story behind Nomo.
